The global duty free retailing market is expected to be worth USD 112.75 billion by 2025, with several companies in the global duty free retailing market now looking to expand and acquire.
Headquartered in Dubai, ODG, the global travel retail consultancy agency – is one such company who have noticed a strong demand from airports who want to upgrade their commercial planning and retail experiences.
Following on from the successful design and implementation of the Muscat Airport Duty Free offering, ODG have utilized their skill, knowledge and experience to deliver another outstanding project for Larnaca Airport, Cyprus.
The brand-new retail experience see’s ODG’s overall task encompass the design, engineering and construction review of the new retail spaces that will cover a total of 4,300 square metres across the entire airport.
One of the key initiatives embedded in the design is to ensure maximum exposure to the retail offering, whilst providing passengers with reassurance about the direction as well as the time to reach the boarding gates, two factors that could be the main purchasing barriers in an airport.
