Lufthansa Technik and NAS expand cooperation in Saudi Arabia
Cairo "Almasalla News" Lufthansa Technik AG and NAS-Holding of Saudi Arabia are expanding their cooperation. Lufthansa Technik already provides component and engine services for NAS fleet and support for the new technical subsidiary NAS-Tech. Now the two partners will join forces in offering technical services for customers in Saudi Arabia.
Customers in Saudi Arabia will be addressed and served through a joint sales organization representing both partners. The MRO services of NAS-Tech and Lufthansa Technik complement each other perfectly, whether for VIP and special mission aircraft or for maintenance and overhaul services for commercial airlines in Saudi Arabia.
This cooperation will allow the two partners to take on the complete technical care of entire fleets, from production monitoring to the start of flight operations and even the handover of an aircraft.

And there are clear benefits for customers from this new joint portfolio of technical services for the Saudi Arabian market: NAS has a local technical presence in Riyadh and Jeddah stations and a deep understanding of the specific needs of regional customers. Lufthansa Technik can contribute the know-how of a company with a worldwide network. Together, they add up to comprehensive solutions with the added value of one-stop service.
Since the ten-year cooperation agreement was signed in September 2010, engineers and technical consultants from Lufthansa Technik have supported NASs technical business, NAS-Tech, in developing capacity for maintenance and smaller overhauls. Lufthansa Technik has also taken over maintenance services for the engines and components of the entire NAS fleet.
