 HRH Prince Khalid Al Faisal receives an authentic gift from “Bari”

 

 

 

ATP-  Arab tourism portal-  Prince Khalid Al Faisal bin Abdul Aziz, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah, recently received a handicraft product as gift from “Bari” (Skilled).  It was handed over -----to the Prince by Dr. Jasir Al Harbash, General Supervisor of The National Handicraft Program “Bari”, during the opening ceremony of Souk Okaz Avenue.

 
The gift, which was made by a female artisan, Ms. Fadia Al Omrani, from Tabuk, is one of the winning pieces in Souk Okaz last year.  It is a representation of crochet work illustrating some plants and geometric designs, topped by an imprinted logo of “Souk Okaz”.

Annually Souk Okaz Avenue allows the participation of artisans, male and female, to display various types of handicrafts and market them to visitors to the Souk. 

 

This includes manufactured and decorated windows, doors, skylights, agricultural tool handles, utensils, furniture, pottery and clay products, copper works, sewing, dyeing, metalwork, and gold jewelry, among others.
