Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority and Cairo Airport Successfully pass ICAO Audit

ATP-  Arab tourism portal- Mahmoud Zanati President of the Civil Aviation Authority attended the final debriefing with the International Civil Aviation Organization Auditors who has performed the periodic security audit on Civil Aviation -----Authority, Cairo airport and a number of airlines operating at the airport. This audit has been planned since the beginning of this year.

Zanati said that the Civil Aviation Authority and Cairo airport successfully passed the Audit which comes in the framework of ICAO Universal Security Audit Program (Continuous Monitoring Approach).

The scope of the audit covers Egypt’s aviation security oversight system and the degree of compliance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices. Four ICAO experts has performed the audits from 3 to 12 Nov 2015.
