Global Traveler launches Chinese edition
Almasalla Travel News – Ashraf El gedawy – YARDLEY, Pennsylvania – Global Traveler, the only monthly magazine for business and luxury travelers, announces the launch of China Global Traveler magazine and website in January 2014. The magazine and website will be in Mandarin and circulate throughout China, Hong Kong and Macau.
Produced in conjunction with i2i Group China, China Global Traveler will include coverage on worldwide destinations and lifestyle information of interest to Chinese global luxury business travelers, including articles on news, deals, reviews, spas, golf, wine, international products, technological gadgets, food, sports and travel health.
Chinese travelers are the world’s fastest-growing luxury business travel market. More than 90 million Chinese travelers will circle the world in 2014, with 8 million traveling in premium cabins and staying at luxury hotels. CGT will connect with this exclusive group of travelers, bringing up-to-the-minute, need-to-know information to elite Chinese travelers 10 times per year.
“Since Global Traveler launched in 2004, we’ve focused on the Chinese market. Business and luxury travelers know it is the most important region in Asia and the fastest-growing in the world,” said Francis X. Gallagher, publisher and CEO, Global Traveler. “It is rewarding to see our brand spread its wings.
Now, the Chinese business and luxury travel market can have the same information its American counterparts have had for a decade. China Global Traveler will be a powerhouse in Asia and an influencer around the world. We are further pleased to find a partner in the i2i Group, a company that is experienced, respected and well-known in the Chinese and global markets.”
China Global Traveler will also produce a monthly e-newsletter full of timely travel information. The website and staff blog will complement the monthly print edition and feature original content, insider information, videos, photos and more.
“We are excited to be working with a leader such as Global Traveler. The Chinese global luxury business travel market is growing by leaps and bounds and China Global Traveler is an opportunity whose time has come,” said Alexander Glos, CEO, i2i Group China.
CGT’s initial circulation of more than 100,000 will reach frequent, international Chinese premium-class travelers; corporate travel buyers and managers; premium lounges in 18 international Chinese airports; business associations; and premium credit card and account holders at CITIC Bank China, one of China’s leading banks.
