Maitha Al Mahrouqi conducts a field visit to Jabel Sifa and Al Khairan Resort Projects

 

 

 

aTP-  Arab tourism portal News- The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism (MoT), Maitha Bint Saif Al Mahrouqi, has conducted a field visit to the Jabel Sifa Resort project as -----well as the Khairan Resort Project.

 

conducted the visits in last week the to view the latest developments of both projects, where she viewed the Human Resource strategy as well as the later stages of both the projects development.

 

The Khairan resort project houses 40 hotel units in the Muscat region, as well as a fitness and dive center. The investment group (Khairan Tourism) has completed the infrastructural stage of the development, as well as two prototype chalets.

 

The second project, Jabel Sifa resort, also lies in the Muscat region and houses 5 hotels with a 560 room capacity.

 

The project also houses a golf course, a water park, an aquarium and a marina, as well as 1,000 housing units.

 

The project was initiated in 2009 and concluded its first phase in 2016 with the launch of Sifawi Botique Hotel, the marina and 118 apartments and 39 villas. The remaining phases of the project are expected to be completed in 2020.
