(Bari) cooperates with commercial centers and online marketing programs to support crafts
aTP- Arab tourism portal- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTH, Head of the Supervising Committee of National Handicraft Program “Bari”, on Sunday 15 May 2016, at the headquarters of SCTH in Riyadh, patronized the signing ceremony of the agreements of cooperation between Bari and several commercial centers and online marketing platforms.
The agreements were signed by the General Superintendent of Bari, Dr. and craft products through marketing crafts and homemade crafts by artisans for nomination in all consumer goods fairs and coordinate directly between craftsmen and fairs operators to ensure that high quality exhibits are produced and the exhibits are made by artisans themselves, besides marketing consumer goods through social networking sites, newspapers and banners.
The agreements were signed with several companies including Al Morshid Company for Investment and Real Estate Development, Ahmed bin Saad Al Rashid and His Brothers Co., Asdaf Company for Real Estate Development, Rashid Mall Company, Kassb Platform for Communication and Information Technology, Astra Food Company, and Aswaq Al Bahr Company.
The agreements provide for offering permanent and temporary sales outlets for marketing handicraft products inside the commercial centers as well as via online platforms, in addition to organizing consumer fairs in selected venues and at the agreed times between "Bari" and commercial centers. The companies that are parties in these agreements to submit quarterly reports to Bari.
The agreements also provides product development and marketing and presentation methods that aim to combine efforts to improve product quality and exchange of experiences and information in all areas related to the trades and crafts and raise awareness of community on the importance of maintaining and development of crafts.
